The book and I are traveling to the Dallas-Forth Worth record convention in Grapevine on Saturday, April 4, so this week we'll focus on a few giants of DFW music history. And who better to start with than T-Bone Walker? A native of Linden in East Texas, T-Bone moved to Dallas by early adolescence and began his professional career right away. His influence on guitar players is unique and immeasurable -- for the rest of this piece let's let B.B. King speak: "When I heard T-Bone Walker, I flat-out lost my mind. I became his disciple.
